Stephanie Woodward, Gregg Beratan and Ellen Taverna stopped by Rep. Waters' office on 6/28. We met briefly with Kathleen Sengstock, Senior LA. We explained that Congresswoman Waters personally expressed interest in signing on to DIA. We went over the bill again and Kathleen apologized for the delay. She said she would review again and raise it with Waters. We'll follow up in mid-July.

2/13: ADAPT members met with Congresswoman outside of Capitol building and she said she was interested in signing on to DIA.
The following week Laura stopped by the office. No one was available so dropped off DIA 2 pager and got a card.
3/5 and 3/18: Laura emailed, no response
3/15The same week I believe Gregg and Sheryl stopped by trying to follow up. No one was available.
3/27: Laura stopped by office again. No one was available and explained that folks have stopped by several times and emailed with no one available or responding.
Sheryl has stopped in several times as well with no response or folks responding

Need to reach out to local CIL representing the Inglewood area outside of LA to ask their DC staff to meet and discuss DIA and have constituents contact Maxine Waters to sign on.
