Stephanie Woodward & Gregg Beratan met with Roberto on 10/2/18 to find out why the congressman was not yet on the Bill after committing to co-sponsor at a candidate forum at a NJ CIL. Roberto said he had not heard about the commitment but that yes the congressman occasionally made exceptions to his rule of not cosponsoring legislation before the committee. He promised to check with the congressman and the committee staff and said should have answer within the week.

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Roberto Sada (Roberto.Sada@mail.house.gov) asking why is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the representative would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On 8/27, in a meeting with Congressman Pallone at a CIL in NJ, Pallone committed to signing on to the DIA. He says that he will be officially signing on when he returns to Washington tomorrow.

He said he has the LTSS bill in progress, and while they were positive and seemed interested in the DIA, they may not be able to cosponsor if it is in the Representative's committee.
