On September 25, Bill and Lee of Michigan ADAPT led fellow ADAPT members in visiting the DC office. They were told no one was available at that time but that they could return at 3 to meet with Mike Rorke, Legislative Correspondent and Press Secretary. Bill, Lee, and their attendants, Joelle, Kenya, and Jaden returned that afternoon and were able to meet Mike a bit early. They had a productive conversation and told their stories. Mike agreed to follow up with them in the coming weeks.
