Steny Hoyer,

Spoke with front desk admins. The office does not house any policy or Legislative staff. Best they could do is give us a sticky note of their scheduler...try office H 107 at the Capital.

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Charlene MacDonald (charlene.macdonald@mail.house.gov) asking why is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the representative would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On July 24th, NCIL member group SMCIL visited the office of Steny Hoyer and met with Rachel Snyder. She stated that while he supports DIA, he will not cosponsor because he is leadership and rarely cosponsors unless it is a broad caucus issue. He does have some concern about the punative component and how it is worded but believes that can be worked out in committee.
