Hello,

In January, we emailed and left information for you about H.R. 555 and emailed Aimee about the bill. In February I received a response that your office was still reviewing the bill. In March, I also sent you the one pager with information on the Disability Integration Act which included the website (www.disabilityintegrationact.org) in case you needed more information or wanted to see a track changes version of the bill. In April, I called to inquire as to why Representative Demings was not a cosponsor. I was told that your office was looking into it. A group of us attempted to obtain a meeting with either of you while we were in D.C. the week of April 7th and we were told that no one could meet with us. On May 7th, my mother, who is a constituent, was unable to contact anyone in neither the local Orlando office nor was she able to get through to either of you about this issue.

ADAPT will be in town next week and we would prefer to stop by your office to thank Representative Demings for her support. It is critical that your office review the emails from ADAPT about the Disability Integration Act and get back to us about Representative Demings cosponsoring DIA before we arrive.

Thank you.

Ericka Jones

Brit Johns agreed to transfer her to Mr. Styron's phone and if a voicemail picked up then she could leave a message. A voicemail did pick up so she did leave a message. Ms. Jones also sent an email to both Mr. Styron and Ms. Collins-Mandeville supporting the voicemail.
