E. Jones called Correa's D.C. office and asked to speak to Ms. Khan and was told to send an email to her. Ms. Jones noted that the email address for Ms. Khan was incorrect in C4CI so she corrected and sent a followup email.

A few members of ADAPT, myself included, stopped by the office last week in hopes of speaking with you about the Disability Integration Act or HR. 555. My cohort sent you an email soon after asking that Representative Correa cosponsor the Disability Integration Act in this Congress. I am reaching out to you to see if you have had the chance to review the legislation and make a decision about cosponsorship. Attached is a one-pager on the bill to help refresh your memory. On April 9, S. Poost, and K. Carroll stopped by the office to ask that the Representative cosponsor again. They were told The staffer Sheresh Khan was not available. K. Carroll sent a follow up email.

On August 30th, 2018, C4CI sent an email to Emilio Mendez (emilio.mendez@mail.house.gov) asking why is not a cosponsor of DIA and whether the representative would commit to being an initial co-sponsor of DIA if elected to the next Congress.

On July 24th, 2018, NCIL Advocate Paula Margeson met with staffer Emilio Mendez. They discussed the of the DIA, and staff was "pretty positive" that he would support both the DIA and the ECA.
