We saw Congressman Lieu as he was leaving his office and asked for him to re commit to DIA. We were going to meet with Aurora Paik but was unavailable. We spoke to Marc Cevasco, Lieu's chief of staff and Linda Taylor from CDR is sending both Marc and Aurora the red line version of the bill. Said it was not a big ask at 99.9 percent sure he will cosponsor again

K Carroll sent email April 23rd
Dear Ms. Paik,

I am just following up as I had not heard back from regarding my earlier email about the Disability Integration Act. I want you to know that the Chair of the Judiciary Committee, in which the bill (HR555) is located, has committed to cosponsoring the bill and so we hope you will consider cosponsoring now so that the bill can achieve its intended legislative goals by the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act this July.

Some other members of ADAPT on the Hill today and could stop by to meet with you.

Sincerely,
Kathryn Carroll
