Congresswoman Torres was just leaving as we arrived so we got to ask in person for her support. We talked to Clay as a follow up to Sophie's previous email. We started a thread to answer questions. We hope to have an answer by next week.

On 5/13, Sophie Poost called the office and explained she was calling in regards to emails that had gone without reply. She was transferred to Clay Boggs who said he had missed the email but would look over the legislation and discuss it with the Congresswoman. Sophie sent the following email (attaching the one pager and language comparison) after getting off the phone with Clay:

Good Afternoon Clay,

We just spoke on the phone briefly about the Disability Integration Act or DIA. I know that you mentioned you had just found the email in your inbox; it is very important that you review this email from ADAPT. I am attaching resources on the bill in case the email gets lost in your inbox once more. ADAPT will be in town next week and we would prefer to stop by your office to thank Representative Torres for her support. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns or you can contact Amy Bos in Representative Sensenbrenner???s office to be added to the bill.

Thank you for your time,
Sophie Poost
