Ellen Taverna and Nicole LeBlanc along with a group from the Autism Society of America Hill Day met with Max Huntley on 7/12. I raised the DIA and the importance of living independently and being integrated in the community after group members shared their stories about autistic people facing many different barriers in education and employment. Max didn't comment on the DIA. I said we'd follow up with his office in a few weeks.
